As owner, Karen is responsible for the direction of the business, marketing and the growth of the company.
She has over 20 years experience in preparing income tax returns including three years completing small business tax returns.
Karen is a graduate of Kentucky State University, with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Karen has previously worked for a large reputable tax service provider for three tax seasons, two as an office supervisor and one as a tax preparer before starting Kd & Kd Tax Service, LLC in 2006.
Her tax knowledge, dedication and providing excellent customer service and customer satisfaction is important to the growth of the company.

Kd & Kd Tax Service,LLC is owned and operated by Karen Cothran. The business was started December 2006 in Shelbyville, KY and moved to Gainesville, GA in 2013.
We are privately owned business, so we do not have to charge the high corporate fees; we set our prices according to your tax situation.
At Kd & Kd Tax Service, we have the same refund options as the large companies. We work for you, and your satisfaction is very important to the company.
